Engage wants to make a difference, and so we’re partnering with Compassion International in Peru. On August 15, 2007, an earthquake registering 7.9 on the Richter scale struck the Peru coast and devastated multiple Peruvian cities. Compassion International, which seeks to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name, was already ministering in Peru, and nine of their church partners were directly affected by the quake.
You can find out how we did in our giving challenge on our blog, and you can still join the Lovevolution in Peru or in other places around the world by sponsoring a child through Compassion. Pick up a packet at Engage or visit Compassion's website to learn more!
