About Sabbath : Sabbath Facts
What will Sabbath do?
- Serve as a catalyst for awakening
- Show students they’re not alone
- Give student ministers and volunteer leaders strategic breaks during the year
- Bridge the gap from individual churches to the greater Kingdom of God in the upstate
Nightly setup
- Worship music. Sabbath worship leaders have included Matt Papa, Chris Orr, Aaron Keyes and Spur 58.
- Talks by Chris Brooks, Chad Norris, and Dave Rhodes
- Other unique ways of engaging students, including prayer, reflection, interaction, drama, multimedia, etc. In the past, we've featured drama from the Dramatic Vagabonds and improv comedy from Third String Varsity.
Who attends Sabbath?
- 7th through 12th grade students
- Group-oriented, not individual-oriented
What will Sabbath cost?
- Free to students
- Free to churches
- Wayfarer Ministries will raise funds for Sabbath from individual and corporate donations.
